평점 작성일 2014-10-21 추천 추천하기 조회수 4186 결혼식 답레품으로 무엇을 할까 고민하다가 떡은 너무 지겹고해서 요즘 다들 커피 드시니, 커피에 곁들일 쿠키를 생각하고 폭풍 검색중에 눈에 들어오는 리얼쿠키를 주문했습니다. 배송마감에도 불구하고 급히 만들어주셔서, 무사히 잘 도착했구요 회사사람들이나, 친구들이 이쁘다고, 아까워서 못먹겠다고 칭찬받았어요 맛도 맛있구요!! 생각보다 작았지만.. 앙증맞고 이중에, 사람모양(?)쿠키가 제일 인기좋았어요 언제가될지 모르겟지만 돌잔치할때에도 여기서 주문할게요~ ^^ 서비스로 주신것도 잘 받았습니다 ^^

If you look at the question and answer section for this sword someone asked if you can cut a watermelon. Someone answered that the Damascus lines are just a decal that can be removed with chemicals. This is not true. You can see the continuation of the Damascus lines where the blade has been sharpened.

I usualy love cold steel knives. This katana arrived a bit sub standard. There are rust spots about 2 inches long on the face of the blade. Also on the spine at about the center point on the blade there is a 3 inch rust spot. Most of the length of the blade was dull except for the tip. It appears as if the katana had been stored for a very long time or handled much before it was sold to me. I will however keep it and attempt to buff out the rust then sharpen.

Swordaxe was great! We got the shipment which came with oil for the sword, well due to packaging it leaked and there was no more oil to clean the weapon. We contacted Swordaxe and they replied back in five minutes and sent us a new package of cleaning kit. There are great and will do business with them again!!

My first katana and I love it. Well balanced blade and the fact that they engrave for free is nice. I got the electroplated black instead of red. The way they ship it is fantastic. Completely wrapped up in Styrofoam to ensure safe overseas travel. I would definitely buy again. Detail on the katana is nice too. Hope this helps.

i just got this sword today the shipping was early by a day and the boxing was good and it came with a stand and belt. the craftsmanship of the blade was great and it feels like it could put some real damage out. its worth the money in my opinion. the tsuka was fit for either one or two hand wielding and the blade was almost razor sharp.

Full tang Authentic everything including beautiful hamon! I would recommend this blade to anyone looking for a cheap but well made and truly battle ready. I have put this blade through hell and back and it still looks amazing. However I have polished and sharpened along the way I have had this blade for about a year now and it is my favorite. This blade could match just about anything you see a warrior class cold steel katana do. the only thing better than this blade is one that has been deferentially hardened for authenticity but as durability is concerned for most people mono steel is fine, when made of high carbon steel.

This sword came just as shown, and is in top quality. There is but one minor complaint, but it doesn't affect the product in any way: There is a slight flaw where the cord wraps around the saya, and a small scratch going up an inch along the saya, from that point. Again, it's nothing to worry about. Overall, I'm very satisfied with my purchase, and I will buy from the seller again, if I see another sword I like.

With this item being used-in good condition, I expected to see some evidence of use but this Katana came to me in like-new condition. I received more than what I expected and I am very satisfied. *What would be really useful, for shopping, would be to have a link to specifically select "warehouse deals" to be able to browse everything that is available in the warehouse deals department.

It's a really nice sword, seems put together well,(solid). I would have given a five star if it would have had a blade that was better sharpened. The blade was sharp just not real sharp. But for the most part a - nice sword.

It may be a replica but it's a nice one and ranks higher than other swords I've bought. Decent edge. The ronin-02 has the best edge of mine for the three but I like my collection to have different looking swords or at least saya/tsukas so this was necessary to add to the collection.

Very well balanced. Good weight, good feel to it. It's durability will be tested I assure you but so far it's been a great practice weapon. Came sharp enough out of the box to cut through bamboo as said but definitely could be sharpened to a razor edge if you need it to be.

This katana was everything I hoped for and more, it arrived on time and in excellent condition. My only complaint is that it says china on the brass plate(I forget the name, the one between the tsuba and the habaki)but that can easily be replaced. I would definitely buy from this seller again. I have many Katanas and this one is my absolute favorite of all in this price ranage; and note it is a great value and should cost far more. Everything is real and it is truly combat ready. Beautiful in its simplicity. Magnificient piece of work. I bought another. Great feel. Buy! I have many swords in my collection, right around 30 or so, with most coming from Amazon and ranging from $25 - $300 in purchase price. That collection includes everything from Whetstone to Shinwa, with both awful and awesome swords coming from Master Cutlery and United Cutlery names, with nearly all of them being katanas, ninjatos, nodachis, or zatoichis (plus a couple of FF7-style 'buster' swords). I was looking at adding a ninjato from Ten Ryu when I came across this Boker one, and I took the plunge on it instead.

this is a great looking sword and based on the sword alone it was good. Mine got damaged in shipping because the box it was shipped in was too small, so the hilt end is "rubbed" and the blade is very difficult to get out of the scabbard. I hope that they can fix this for me. If they can, then i'd change this to a 5 star. :)

I was very impressed by the quality of this katana when I pulled it out of the box. The blade was well made and came with a certificate of authenticity that detailed the basic qualities of the sword as a whole. I wouldn't say it was razor sharp but it was sharp enough to do the basic cut tests, in which it held as expected for it's particular price. The artwork on the handle is well crafted and gives it it's own unique look which I personally like. I would say it's better than average for its price, so if you want a better sword you'll need to pay more.

OK, so its not a real, folded steel samurai sword. Those cost thousands, and you get what you pay for, however, compare the price to an $85 Ka-bar, and you begin to see how reasonably priced this sword is. The quality and craftsmanship of this sword is easily comparable to any mid-range, mass-produced combat knife made by companies like Ka-bar or Ontario. You are paying for a sword that is handmade with modern materials and knifemaking techniques - high carbon steel with a clay-tempered "hamon" edge. No joke, the edge is sharp enough to shave with. I plan on purchasing the matching Katana, and I already purchased 2 Mushashi style (#670) tsuba to make the set truly no-frills.

I love this sword! The coloring is beautiful and it came oiled with a plastic covering to protect the blade during shipping. I would have given it a full five stars, but the sheathe does not actually fit the blade, so the Katana knocks against the wood when it's sheathed, unlike the Mashiro that I bought earlier. Still a beautiful and sharp sword, just disappointed in the ill fit.

For anyone looking for an authentic cutting sword, this is a great choice. This is the more refined version of the Hanwei Practical Katana Sword. I did some research and this rated well in many sword enthsiast forums. It comes with a tag from Hanwei that provides a serial number to document that this is a Hanwei sword. The workmanship is so beautiful for a sword of this price that I have not had the heart to cut with it yet. I may just buy another one and keep one for decoration and dedicate the other for cutting practice.

Some reviews have complained that it is made in China, but the Chinese have been making swords for over 2000 years. This is a Ten Ryu katana. One of the better low price swords, since a real Japanese katana would cost between $5000 and $50,000. Dual mekugi pegs add strength so there is no looseness between the nakago and ho. It may be a replica but it's a nice one and ranks higher than other swords I've bought. Decent edge. The ronin-02 has the best edge of mine for the three but I like my collection to have different looking swords or at least saya/tsukas so this was necessary to add to the collection.

At first it felt small in my hand. Very lightweight blade with nice long o-kissake' But the tsuba is kind of small so, this is a nice katana but somewhat feels wakizashi-ish, which i do like its just not the sword i was expecting so at first I was surprised is all. The sword is relatively well balanced, ever so slightly tip heavy but overall the Katana feels comfortable in my hand and the weight doesn't throw me off. I had some slight difficulty removing the mekugi closest the tsuba but other than that the Katana came apart cleanly for inspection and cleaning.

The katana is not as tight in the scabbard(top of the Wakizashi) as the Wakizashi is in the scabbard. This makes it easy to pull out the katana with out revealing the hidden Wakizashi.

Excellent training value for your $$. I own several of these. They are basically unbreakable, unlike oak or kamagong wood bokken, of which I have broken many. These polypro bokken are not as rigid as wood, so be aware of that. Also you'll want to put tape on the grip area, the polypro gets slippery when you're training and your hands are sweaty.

Another masterpiece from Shinwa, Well made with craftsmanship that is truly impressive. Solid and very durable with a razor sharp edge that holds up. Damascus living up to its reputation. The cost to value ratio is way off on this "ninja to" and is worth a great deal more. The memories from "Enter The Ninja" back in the 80s made my buying mind up.

I own and have used several live blades. This one is of better construction than all but one, which cost me $1000. The blade is almost full tang and well secured with two pins. The blade is well designed with a nice long fuller and comes semi-sharp. It took little time, however, to get it sharp enough to cut hairs. I have not done any Tameshigiri with it yet but have full confidence.

The sword is oilde not too light not too thick, its edge is not as sharp as it could be but is still battle ready, I'd suggest getting a wet stone to sharpen. The steel is a modern way of recreating Damascus steel so it is Damascus steel in a way. The sword is pretty well balanced and its only flaw is the handle isn't as pretty but with looking at it more thoroughly its very sturdy. No katana is meant for cutting tree limbs as no sword should be used as such, the metal is long so it will bend if hit against something its not meant for. Although bamboo is tougher its also hollow. Don't forget to oil it every once in a while as it is a metal that can rust. Treat ur sword with respect and proper use and it will last. It is in fact a great sword and I'm still loving it.

beautiful sword. was NOT customized as per my request(they could have just said no, i still would have bought it), but whatever, i'll just buy more swords(probably not from this seller, tho). it is still a fine addition to my collection. on par with other swords in this price range, but barely. hamon appears to be real, as far as i can tell. beautiful, shiny finish, almost flawless. unique saya and tsuba. i got the sword in the pics and i am happy with it. it makes a LOUD chopping noise, which is very cool, but i think i would have preferred it without bo-hi, as i am more interested in devastating damage than sounding cool. i do not think this one will be getting much use in the bamboo grove.

I am very impressed with this sword. The craftsmanship on the handle and hilt are very strong. It came sharpened, but not super sharp, it does come with a layer of grease to prevent rusting, Which is white. The entire construction is sturdy and has a great feel to it. I don't know if it's just an imprinted coloring on the blade or not. But I will say if it turns out to be a plain carbon steel blade, it still is worth way more then paid .

Looked at reviews and other swords(like the one that comes with 3 and stand) and decided to get this one. BEST decision!! This sword is beautiful and well made and when you hold it in your hands you know where that extra money went. When I swing it around and pretend to slay zombies or intruders or whatever I know that the sword wont fly out of the handle. I was worried about the authenticity of the product as it is far cheaper than on the official musashi website and that in the pictures there is no "musashi" inscription on the gold colored metal piece above the guard. I got the free two day shipping and it promptly arrived. I was more than pleased when I took it out of the box. It was far more sturdy than i had expected and looked far better than in any picture. It did in fact come with a certificate of authenticity. I am very very satisfied with the purchase. criticisms - the piece that is supposed to have the musashi stamp does in fact have the stamp but doesn't fit, it wobbles around all the time. I'm unsure about the small oil colored lines that run throughout the blade, can't seem to wash them off but polishing may take care of that, however it may be just what the steel is supposed to look like (never owned this type of steel blade). It wasn't really that sharp at all, couldn't even cut into paper. Had to sharpen it myself and since i'm inexperienced I left some pretty gnarly scratches. It scratches extremely easily but i guess thats inevitable with something that is being used to cut things. If you want it for a display piece don't use it

After doing a lot of research on the types of steel and the way it is made, I settled on the mid range steel in this sword which is not as brittle at the higher rated steel but also maintains its edge better than the lower rated steel. This is a nice trade-off for optimal flexibility and sharpness. The sword itself came with a certificate of authenticity, which was a great touch since this made a beautiful gift for my friend.

As far as a practice sword I have no clue if it is a good one or not, but as a kid's toy it is great. Well my nephew loves it, but I'm not sure if my sister and brother-in-law have the same feelings. He can ninja chop whatever he wants to now and not have to worry about his sword breaking.

Not bad for price. If you want it super sharp you will have to work on it. Heft and balance ok. Scabbard fits well. No rattle so far. I haven't tried cutting with it yet.

I have many Katanas and this one is my absolute favorite of all in this price ranage; and note it is a great value and should cost far more. Everything is real and it is truly combat ready. At first it felt small in my hand. Very lightweight blade with nice long o-kissake' But the tsuba is kind of small so, this is a nice katana but somewhat feels wakizashi-ish, which i do like its just not the sword i was expecting so at first I was surprised is all. Excellent training value for your $$. I own several of these. They are basically unbreakable, unlike oak or kamagong wood bokken, of which I have broken many. These polypro bokken are not as rigid as wood, so be aware of that. Also you'll want to put tape on the grip area, the polypro gets slippery when you're training and your hands are sweaty.

Now I may be mistaken, but this looks just like the Musashi Bamboo Warrior katana. Which in that case isn't a pretty awesome bugmdget katana with real carbon steel and hamon. But it's also like only a $100 sword. Soo... Look for the authentic Musashi stamp or Smith signature on the tang.

This sword is tough! Because the material it is made out of is polypropylene instead of traditional wood, it is a lot more flexible when it comes into impact with something solid. This means there is a less likely hood of chipping or shattering after many uses. Do not let that fool you; however, because if you were to swing this at something, it will still do a lot of damage because while Polypropylene is "flexible," it is still very tough.

This is my third katana and I instantly love this one the most. It is heavier than the others but the balance makes it feel perfect. All the fittings are tight and beautiful. The scabbard fits tightly too(actually too tight, but it will loosen over time). It arrived with light oil on it, but I found 1 spot of rust(about 2mm long by .25mm wide - tiny) that I will sand off before I sharpen. Oh yeah, it has an edge but I wouldn't call it sharp. It wouldn't pass the paper test out of the box, which is fine by me because I like to sharpen by blade myself. Looks like the images. I would have liked if it had come with a certificate about its HRC rating. Came with a blue cloth cover bag. I planned to take off the handle and give the blade a black satin rustoleum coat, but it is so beautiful I'm not sure if I will now.

I received my Katana about an hour ago. I couldn't be more pleased. It is beautiful! It came well packaged and in perfect condition. It exceeded my every expectation. I have read in reviews of other sword makers how the blade arrived scratched and/or the parts of the Katana were loose. Not with this one! It is a solid weapon. And I do mean weapon. I test the sharpness of my knives by pushing them through thin paper, not slicing, pushing. If they go through the paper without drag, they are sharp. My Katana went through the paper like it wasn't there right out of the box. The fabricators were very confident that I would be happy with their Katana before I received it. Now I know why. I'm not an expert on Katanas, but I have done a lot of reading. I believe the steel was really folded and the Hamon is real. The blade came wrapped coated in oil and wrapped in plastic to protect the Saya from the oil. Even the bag, though not the one pictured, is beautiful. I would recommend this to anyone and I am considering buying another.

The blade on this thing is incredibly sharp. The overall quality is very good, although it seems a bit blade heavy and unbalanced. I imagine if I were looking for an authentic (and perfect) samurai sword I would be spending thousands of dollars. Regardless, this is a beautiful and well made katana for the price.

I usualy love cold steel knives. This katana arrived a bit sub standard. There are rust spots about 2 inches long on the face of the blade. Also on the spine at about the center point on the blade there is a 3 inch rust spot. Most of the length of the blade was dull except for the tip. It appears as if the katana had been stored for a very long time or handled much before it was sold to me. I will however keep it and attempt to buff out the rust then sharpen.

This is a pretty nice sword however for the money there are better swords. When i received mine i saw on the blade that it appeared to have 2 hamons... yeah one was much more prominent than the other and its hardly noticeable and blade also looks scratchy. the tsuka was very nice and all the fittings were nice. All in all this is a good buy, you will be satisfied

I received my sword today. I am very pleased with the quality... the only "issue" is that I received the Ronin version instead of the Dragon one I ordered but I must say, I am not even slightly disappointed (as a matter of fact.. in hindsight I think it might be better as the Dragon theme has become a bit cliche'). I will not be playing "warrior" with it so the shortcomings in hacking water bottles and buses do not apply.

I am very pleased with this Musashi sword. It arrived quite sharp and with no issues such as warped blades. It included a cotton sword bag for storage and a certificate of authenticity. My sword had a slight rattle in the hilt. I was concerned that the hilt was loose, but, after removing the pegs, I was completely unable to budge the hilt. Turned out that the "rattle" was actually the Menuki, the little brass good luck charm that Samurai had placed under the wrappings. This is probably one of the best swords you can get in this price range.

Product came extremely early, in fact, a week early than expected and came in beautifully. Of course, there was the oil the blade upon unsheathing. But just looking at the scabbard was amazing, the spread of the red paint on it, so pretty. Blade came in undamaged and they sold it advertised.

this is a fine weapon. It came sharp as a razor from the factory, still wrapped and oiled. The saya is wooden, no rattle and the sword will not fall out under duress. The hamon is real, not wire brushed, as other reviewers have stated. I agree with the previous poster, this is no toy. The Blade is undamaged after cutting the box it came in into slithers, and then a bleach bottle filled with water clean in half in one clean stroke. In practiced hands, this katana could make an attacker, or would be attacker, wish they hadn't crossed you in the first place. Zombies would fall in droves before the might of this blade!!!

I bought one of these to give as a gift, and then bought another to keep for myself. I ended up keeping both to use for playful sparring with former girlfriend. I have no martial arts or swordfighting training, so I am not qualified to offer an opinion on their effectiveness as authentic training items, but I enjoy them quite a bit. Be careful with use, as I imagine a strike to an unprotected part of the body could really hurt.

The only thing I don't like is that I didn't have the money to get two of them! I love this sword. I wish I could now get a wakisashi (whatever) to go with it. I've bought a lot of swords from various sources and have always found myself left wanting. Finally that's not the case. I'm only giving this thing five stars because that's all there is. It should actually have seven. If you're thinking of a good sword, real sword, but don't have the funds of Bill Gates this is the one. BUY IT!

I have many swords in my collection, right around 30 or so, with most coming from Amazon and ranging from $25 - $300 in purchase price. That collection includes everything from Whetstone to Shinwa, with both awful and awesome swords coming from Master Cutlery and United Cutlery names, with nearly all of them being katanas, ninjatos, nodachis, or zatoichis (plus a couple of FF7-style 'buster' swords). The sword is relatively well balanced, ever so slightly tip heavy but overall the Katana feels comfortable in my hand and the weight doesn't throw me off. I had some slight difficulty removing the mekugi closest the tsuba but other than that the Katana came apart cleanly for inspection and cleaning.

I was apprehensive before purchasing a product from Cold Steel for the first time but they did not disappoint. This sword is solid, heavy, and EXTREMELY sharp. The blade is more than a quarter inch thick for virtually the entire length of the blade. The blade is monotempered steel, and is not Damascus (folded) steel as is traditional with this type of sword, but nonetheless this is a quality weapon for the consumer that is not able to purchase a more authentic katana.
